The founder Mesut YUVGUN was borned on 1930 at Tire . His mother was Mrs Sabriye and father Mr. Hafız Faik .He finished primary scholl and elementary school in Tire . And he was graduated from İzmir Atatürk High School . Although he was a successful student , becauseof the unsufficient economic conditions of his father , he was not able to go to the university . He tired to satisfy his reading desire by sending his two sons to university in the future . He began to work as draper in Tahtakale Tire . But this job was not satisfy the desire of enterprise and production and he feeled unhappy . He examined on different profession and decided on a new sector of canning . Although he did not have any knowledge on this branch , he was in touch with universities and institues and at the end he wanted to invest in this sector . At the begining he dad many troubles . But working determinedly he was succeded to establish TAMTAD brand in the market . He was a leader in some topies as during the year 1960 , manufacterers are producing okra in regular size , Mr. Mesut classified okra in 3 sizes accordig  to the lenght .  A.)   Lüx Okra ( Lenght is between  0-4 cm ) B.)   Ekstra Okra ( Lenght is between  4-7 cm ) C.)   Big Okra ( Lenght is between  7-9 cm )     Today , we stopped the production of big okra but we are completing the production of other sites . During the export , we are using the same names as Lux and Extra but in the local market we are producing Lux Okra ( the small size ) and selling them Okra . During his life Mr. Mesut had several works on different official positions . He married and had two sons . He became ill at the end of 1991 and dead on Jun. 27 . 1992 . His words " It is normal to reach all our targets by working hard with energetic , disciplined and self - denying and feeling of devotion and keeping the benefits of the company at the top , will accelarated the working tempos . " becomes a main principal of our company .
