History


 

Tamtad Canned Food Factory was established by Mr. Mesut on 1958 . Our registration number is 354 at Aegean Region Chamber of Industry and at Tire Chamber of Commerce . The first production facilities began with the production of canned vegetables  in a small plant about 300 m² at industry site at Tire on 1959 .
On those dates , canning and canned products were not known very well . Our company prepared the can in the company . On 1989 , the factory was moved to new place which is having 30.000 m² open area and 10.000 m² closed area . Now the company is continuing its facilities by using the newest technology and knowledge . Our production line is 80 km far away from İzmir port 45 minutes from Adnan Menderes Airport and in the rich agricultural region of Tire .
To the present production line , we added Amenduni Nicola brand of Italian olive oil machine which is having CE seal. The capacity of the machine is 100.000 kg olive per day and related with the new technology the  output of the oil is high and this production line becomes an important are appreciated to sell the high quality olive oil which is packed in the company .
Now we have more than 50 different product . If we classify to the packaging and sites the number is reached to 150 the main groups are;

- Jams
- Roasted products
- Boiled Legumes
- Coctail Cherries
- Sauces
- Pickles
- Olive oil

 
The main goal is to be a world brand . Tamtad is making efforts to export more than 80 % of the which are acceptable both in domestic and foreign markets .
